Cool discussion on the mechanism of asymmetric electron transfer (tyrosine Z or Y to P680+) in PSII based on the FTIR studies. The points are P680 cation is rather localized on D1 side, and only Yz can shuttle the proton to nearby histidine. https://t.co/S
